First appointment – getting to know you
Typically, the first meeting will last around one to one-and-a-half hours, and is simply an opportunity for your financial adviser to get to know you. They’ll also:
- Look at your current financial circumstances in more detail
- Explore your future needs and goals
- Share initial ideas and options with you
- Explain how our charges work and how much you will pay if you decide to act on our advice.
At the end of this appointment, if we think we can be of further assistance, we’ll arrange another meeting to discuss specific recommendations with you.
Second appointment – looking at the best option for you
Your financial adviser will present you with options that are tailored to suit your individual circumstances – which they’ll discuss in detail with you. They’ll also outline what charges will apply should you decide to go ahead.
Don’t worry about making a decision there and then – you can go away and take time to think about whether you wish to act on the advice given to you.
If you’d like to go ahead with a recommendation, your adviser will give you all the necessary paperwork and guide you through the process.
